Ms. Taguian is the Managing Partner of the Firm, bringing extensive experience and leadership to the practice.

Prior to founding the Firm, Ms. Taguian was a Senior Partner and the Head of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department at Villaraza & Angangco Law, where she played a pivotal role in enhancing the firm’s already distinguished litigation practice. Under her leadership, the department not only upheld but amplified its legacy of excellence—culminating in the firm being named Litigation Law Firm of the Year by the Asian Legal Business (ALB) Philippine Law Awards for 2024. She achieved this by implementing both practical and innovative reforms to streamline operations and optimize personnel management—leading with quiet efficiency rather than ostentation.

Her leadership reflects her distinct approach to lawyering. With over twenty-two years of practice, she has provided advice and handled cases spanning diverse legal fields and representing an equally broad range of clients—from public utilities, banks, and financial institutions to domestic industry leaders, multinational corporations, and some of the wealthiest individuals in the Philippines. In every case, she has been the strategic force behind groundbreaking legal arguments, crafting innovative solutions and shaping jurisprudence—one consequential case and/or matter at a time.

She represented a very prominent foreign company before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) involving a multi-billion dollar claim against one of the largest conglomerates in the Philippines, and has successfully defended its directors and officers from non-bailable criminal charges.

Ms. Taguian successfully caused the recognition of one of the largest arbitral awards to be enforced in the Philippines which was issued by the International Chamber of Commerce, International Court of Arbitration in Paris, France in the amount of at least USD41 Million.

Having successfully obtained two consecutive favourable arbitral awards from the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission (CIAC), with the aggregate amount of Php112 Million, for one of the largest construction companies in the Philippines, Ms. Taguian is one of the formidable lawyers in construction arbitration.

She has provided advice regarding a potential billion peso dispute involving one of the major rail transit systems in the Philippines.

She represented one of the largest Retail Electricity Suppliers in the country which intervened in a case pending before the Supreme Court which questioned the constitutionality of the issuances of the Department of Energy and Energy Regulatory Commission.

She was also counsel for the sole provider of water and wastewater services in the East Zone of Metro Manila and played a critical role in having successfully modified the ruling of the Supreme Court involving a billion peso fine.

Having acted as legal counsel for one of the largest universal banking institutions in the Philippines, she also specializes in corporate rehabilitation, foreclosures and insolvency proceedings, having represented both foreign creditors and debtors in different proceedings.

She also handled a multi-billion peso estate settlement involving one of the richest families in the country.

Beyond her exceptional legal acumen, Ms. Taguian is deeply committed to her clients, known for her accessibility and unwavering dedication. She is available around the clock, ready to provide sound, strategic counsel whenever needed. Fiercely loyal, she ensures that her clients’ interests remain protected at all times. It is no surprise that she is entrusted with some of the most high-stake litigations in the country.

She is a PDRCI-Trained Arbitrator. She has contributed to several international publications on arbitration, labor law, and contracting agreements, and has partnered with UNICEF to provide lectures on substantive areas of law, such as estate and succession planning. Ms. Taguian is among the Legal 500 Asia-Pacific Rankings’ Recommended Lawyers for 2025.
