Atty. Armand Kevin S. Mendoza is one of the Founding Partners of the Firm. Prior to establishing the practice, he was a Senior Associate in the Litigation Department of Villaraza & Angangco Law, where he handled high-stakes corporate, commercial, and criminal litigation, as well as arbitration matters.

Known for his tenacity, obsessive attention to legal problems, and ability to quickly master intricate details of any case and/or matter, Mr. Mendoza is a lawyer who thrives in complexity. This allows him to adapt seamlessly to unexpected challenges and pivot strategically in the midst of legal battles. He is adept at addressing highly intricate transactions with vigor and passion and providing strategic advice with innovative ideas on the most complex regulatory issues on a broad spectrum of industries. Because of this approach, he has gained a remarkable wealth of experience in a short period of time. This led to his promotion as Senior Associate in less than three years, the fastest in the firm’s history.

The breadth of Mr. Mendoza’s experience in dispute settlement is reflected in the diversity of cases he has handled, spanning litigation, arbitration, and regulatory matters. He has gained deep experience in commercial and construction arbitration, intra-corporate disputes, civil and criminal litigation, family law, and estate settlement. He has deftly handled high-value criminal cases such, amongst the most notable of which is a multi-million Peso fraud and qualified theft action. His versatility extends to family law, where he has successfully represented clients in VAWC cases, child custody disputes, and multi-million estate settlements. His ability to draw from this diverse experience allows him to quickly refine his legal techniques and expand his strategic arsenal, making him an adaptable and dynamic advocate.

In addition to his courtroom and arbitration experience, Atty. Mendoza has also played a pivotal role in high-impact legal and regulatory matters. He was part of the legal team that secured a landmark victory before the Tariff Commission, resulting in the lifting of safeguard duties imposed on importers. He has also advised on a potential billion-peso dispute involving one of the country’s major rail transit systems. His expertise extends to the legislative sphere, where he has provided strategic legal counsel to lawmakers, contributing to the development of some of the most consequential laws in the country.

Mr. Mendoza is a PICCR-Trained Arbitrator, and has contributed to several international publications on arbitration. Mr. Mendoza completed his Bachelor of Science degree, Major in Business Management at the Ateneo de Manila University in 2016. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo Law School in 2020 and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022.
